After check out from Taiping, we continued our journey to Kuala Kangsar - Ida’s  hometown (my officemate) for her baby’s ‘berendoi’ and sister weding. Seronok sgt pegi kenduri org Perak ni.. *this is my first time*..lauk2 dia sgt bes. main dishes is Rendang Tok.. *meleleh ayaq liuq*. Sampai rumah Ida agak awl pukul 11am.. sempat tgk baby Aqil ‘berendoi’ nad followed by marhaban from the oldies. Dgr org belah2 sini ckp tak bape paham sgt. Loghat Perak diorg tu dah campo2 ngan utara + siam. So, manage to catch the root word jek.. eehehe..

Lepas berendoi we had our nasik kenduri and lepak2 sementara tunggu pengantin sampai. I jadik part time baby sitter.. tolong pegang baby Aqil coz mama dia jadik bz woman aritu. Baik tol Aqil ni.. senyap jek dok ngan org.. Pengantin sampai kol 2 and lepas tgk pengantin bersanding we all terus mintak diri coz nak check in kat Kuala Kangsar plak. Esok I kene dtg kg Ida ni lagi for berurut. jauh kan I dtg berurut.. ehee..

Sampai pekan Kuala Kangsar, pusing2 dulu carik hotel. We stayed in Safari resort, just in front of Sg Perak. cantikkk.. sgt. Dah check in, pagi jalan pusing2 pekan di raja nih. We had our jama’ Zuhur and Asar at Masjid Ubudiyah, K.Kangsar. Cantik sgt masjid ni.. rase kagum jap. then jalan2 ke Istana Bukit Cagar and Istana Lama yg diorg jadikan muzium. tp sayang xleh masuk coz under renovation. Pastu hujan lebat banget.. so kitorg balik hotel sambong tido…

Mlm we had our diner tepi Sg Perak makan ikan bakar. Sedap and as usual sgt murahh.. *gayat oke dpt makan murah2 nih* Disebabkan hujan turun x benti2 so, xleh nak kemane. Lepak bilik je la mlm tu.

Esok nye gi ngurut kat umah Ida. Makcik yg urut tu bercakap non-stop for 3 hours oke.. Best sgt dpt urut badan + betolkan peranakan. Lepas beurut ida ajak mandi sungai. Dah tukar baju kain batik segala.. skali xjadik coz air bah.. bahaya kalo nak mandi. lepak2 je kat umah Ida sementara nak ptg. dlm kol 3 cemtu bee ajak pegi Kuala Sepetang.. nak beli udang fresh katanye.

Bertolak balik dari umah Ida kol 3 pm, terus ke Kuala Sepetang. Ingatkan ade udang naik.. tapi rupenye udang naik time pagi jek.. hmm.. takde rezeki nak makan udang fresh. So, jenjalan je la kat area situ. On the way back singgah makan mee udang. Terkejut kitorg tgk mee udang tu.. Udang byk gile tergolek2.. nak makan mee kene clearkan udang dulu.. kedai die kampung je.. air botol pon pakai oren ‘old skool’ nye.. mmg puas ati gile makan udang.

Dah kenyang, we all terus balik kl.. Ikut hiway and sampai Tapah ikot jalan lama. Sampai kat Slim River jem banget.. diorg ckp jem sapai ke Rawang.. hmm.. bee yg drive.. i tidoooo.. ehee..

So, next trip.. to East Coast pulak. InsyaAllah after raya.

On Merdeka Day, me and bee went to Taiping for our monthly event (Coti2 Malaysia..ngee). Taiping was mainly a Chinese town. But at one end of the town there were the British officers detached quarters, the military cantonment and the gaol.

Bertolak dari Kota Damansara kol 6.30am.. sempat Suboh di rumah. The ikot jalan dalam.. saje je nak tgk kampung org di waktu pagi. So, we started our journey from Kota Damansara - Rawang - Tg Malim. We had our breakfast in Tg Malim in front of UPSI. We continued our journey direct to Taiping ikot jalan dalam. Sampai tapah bee dah tak larat ikut jalan dalam as well as ikut bontot lori.. sloww seyhh.. so, masuk tol Tapah menuju ke Taiping.

Sampai Taiping town dlm kul 12pm.. ngam2 lapar. Time for lunchh..! Tp bee ckp nak check in dulu.. so we all pon pusing2 Taiping town tu 2-3 kali cari hotel. kebanyakkan nye fully booked bcoz of the public holiday + weekend. Last2 jupe satu hotel yg agak ‘old skool’ in front of Sek King Edward and near to lake garden. Ok jugak bilik nye.. and bathroom besarr sgt. bleh main kejar2 dlm tuh. So lepak2 tunggu zohor then keluar carik makan. I called my mom tanye tmpt mane makan bes. mak ckp blakang bomba. Sib baik jupe. Its quite mcm bazaar la.. tpt makan tu and all kedai mesti ada Yong Tau Fu .. pelik jap. Bee order yong tau fu and I lapaq nasik..

Lepas makan pegi ronda2 lake garden. Singgah jap Bukit Maxwell. Tak bleh bwk kete naik.. ingatkan leh panjat cemtu jek.. rupe nye kene upah ranger bagai.. hmm takpayah la. So lepak2 jek kat kaki bukit then pegi round Lake Garden. Mmg sgt besar lake garden Taiping. bee ajak main Swan kayuh2 kat tasik tu.. tapi mcm xde selera.. hehehe.. so, lepak je la di bwh pokok.. mcm citer P Ramlee. Dekat nak magrib, balik hotel lepak2 jap sebelom acara seterusnye..

Mlm,kol 8 cemtu kitorg gi Zoo taiping plak. Nite Safari die mmg bestt.. 5 star..! Binatang die pon class.. paling bes tgk burung hantu, cheetah, gajah, tc.. mereka ni sgt aktif di waku malam, thats why x boring.. kalo gi siang dpt tgk kandang jek. Dekat 3 jam jugakla dlm zoo tu. Takleh amik gamba sgt. nati minatang tekejot.. ehee..

Balik tu pegi ‘Wakaf’ for kue tiaw kerang ..*as per suggested by bee’s fren*. So muraahhh.. big plate with a lot of kerang for RM2.50 only. kalo kl dah kene RM4.50 dah tu.. Balik makan kue tiaw terooss lepak.. ZZZzzZZ.. and go to next post for our trip to Kuala Kangsa.. weeeee~
